This assignment will give you an opportunity to do a formal evaluation of web page. It is very important to remember that you are evaluating the both the content and technical quality of the web page.

You will need to select a web page that you have some familiarity with. This web page needs to written using html. You will need to complete the following tasks:

• Examine the html source code and process it using some type of html validation tool (e.g. Web Site Garage) and identify any html coding or style errors.
• Rate (1=poor to 5=outstanding) the web page content on each criterion point listed below. You should justify your ratings, using examples.

2. interesting and valuable
3. consistent and engaging
4. integration of text, graphics, audio, video
5. navigational ease
6. unified look and feel
• Evaluate the web page for accessibility, using the guidelines given in class.

Your write up should include the output from the html validation tool, hardcopy of the web page(s), commented source listings of the html for web page(s), rating justifications, and comments on accessibility. You need to include a summary (2 or 3 pages) of the improvements you would reccomend to the web page(s).
