To edit the software metrics database, click the 'Enter Metrics' button on the upper frame of the window. This button is located approximately in the B1 location of the spreadsheet screen. This action will cause the metrics database editor form to open.

In the editor form, enter data in any order until every field of every tab has been completed. At this point, pressing the update button will enter the data into the spreadsheet and calculate the remaining values. This information can then be printed or saved using the commands located in the file menu.
