By utilizing ever-emerging technologies, our students become members of a learning community comprised of on-campus and distance learning students. Our Virtual Learning Tool course management system allows students to view recorded classroom lectures, participate in group projects, submit assignments, receive feedback from instructors, and participate in threaded discussions.

 News and EventsMay 08, 2013 - CECS Moving to Canvas Learning Management System UM-Dearborn is happy to announce that a central learning management system, Canvas, has been selected. Canvas is now live and CECS will start using it for teaching and learning beginning with the Summer 2 semester. "Canvas Days" faculty training sessions and open lab opportunities are scheduled throughout the summer (see calendar) and CECS faculty are strongly encouraged to attend. A VLT to Canvas transition document is also posted here to assist faculty in moving to the new platform.
