Each academic department within CECS may also have additional requirements. Please click here for additional admission requirements to your program of choice and to download the required admission forms.

In addition to the required admission forms, applicants must provide the following documents:

  • Official copy of diploma
  • Official transcripts of any additional coursework that the applicant would like to have considered during the review process
  • A Statement of Purpose
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant's academic abilities or from supervisors familiar with the applicant's work skills (see link above for form)
  • The appropriate fee as indicated on the application

A current TOEFL or MELAB score report is required for applicants whose undergraduate degree was conferred from an institution with a language of instruction other than English.

The Graduate Records Examination (GRE) is not required, although if the cumulative grade point average is low the GRE may be considered during the review process.

Applicants who meet the general admission criteria, but who do not have adequate preparation for the common core requirements (including mathematics) may be required to complete prerequisite courses as a condition of full program admission.
