Engineering Education & Practice
Technology Day
Technology Day is sponsored annually by the Henry W. Patton Center for Education Engineering and Practice (HP-CEEP). Long-term, multi-level relationships between the College of Engineering and Computer Science and industry continue to evolve, with HP-CEEP being the driving force within the college to help build and enhance these partnerships. The growth in these relationships has been as a result of both parties recognizing the many benefits of the close connection. Industry derives benefits from research, continuing education, faculty consulting, cooperative education students, and access to well-trained, productive graduates. The college, on the other hand, receives guidance in developing curriculum and degree programs, direction in the development and application of technology, and of course, valuable financial support. This mutually beneficial collaboration ultimately enhances the quality of our most important product, our students.
