Admission Requirements
The following are the requirements for admission in the Ph.D. program.
- A master's degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited program
- Master's GPA: 3.5 minimum on a 4-point scale or 6.5 minimum on a 9-point scale for regular admission
- GRE taken within 4 years prior to admission
- TOEFL for international students (minimum score of 220 in a computer-based test and 84 in internet-based test)
- At least one advanced mathematics course at the master's level
(if the student has not taken an advanced math course at the master's level, an appropriate math course will be recommended which must be successfully completed within the first year of the program)
- Three recommendation letters from faculty and/or employer
- A Statement of Purpose describing academic and research background, career goals and educational objectives
