Research Centers
The College of Engineering and Computer Science has three research centers for supporting research in the Information Systems Engineering Ph.D. program. These research centers are:
- Center for Engineering Education and Practice, which was established in 1992 to promote industry-university collaborative research and bring research experience to undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Institute of Advanced Vehicle Systems, which has the goal of providing an applied research environment for product development, manufacturing, and system integration.
- Vetronics Institute, which was established by the U.S. Army to support research in vehicle electrical and electronics system integration. Two participating faculty (Dr. Yi Lu Murphey and Dr. Paul Richardson) participate in research at this institute.
