Professor A. Adnan Aswad Scholarship

$3000 Stipend

The Award

The A. Adnan Aswad Scholarship grants a non-renewable award of $3,000 for a transfer student to study for the B.S.E. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or in Manufacturing Engineering at the College of Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Criteria for Eligibility

Apply and be admitted into one of two applicable degree programs (B.S.E. in Industrial and Systems Engineering or B.S.E. in Manufacturing Engineering) at U of Michigan - Dearborn.

Have earned at least 40 transferable credit hours towards a degree in engineering.
Have a GPA > 3.00 in transferable courses towards the B.S.E. degree.
Plan to enroll for at least six credits for the degree each term for two consecutive terms.

Selection Criteria

Academic performance (minimum GPA of 3.00).
Letter of recommendation from a recent advisor or instructor.
Personal statement.
