If a class you are trying to register for is closed, you may waitlist the course. To waitlist a course does NOT guarantee admission into it. Wait listing may be done in person (at Enrollment services), by web, or by telephoning Enrollment Services at (313) 583-6500.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that Enrollment Services has a current phone number on you. Also regularly check your UM-D e-mail. When a new section is opened, students who are on the waitlist are notified by phone or UM-D email. It is important that we are able to reach you to notify you of any changes.

BEING ON A WAITLIST DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY REGISTER YOU FOR THE CLASS.

When a new section of a class that you are on the waitlist for is opened, you must register yourself for it. You are not automatically registered for the new section. You need to officially register for the new section by following regular registration procedures.

Students must submit a degree diploma application in the term in which they expect to complete their degree requirements. This can now be done on-line on the registration web-site.
