BSE in Bioengineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with the other Departments of the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences and the Department of Natural Sciences offers the program in Bioengineering. The educational curriculum of the program is designed to provide broad fundamental education and strong design and analysis skills in applications of engineering principles to living systems and their environment. The graduates of the program are technically skilled and socially responsible engineers prepared for immediate professional employment in various areas of biomedical technology as well as for pursuing advanced degrees in engineering, medicine, or science.
