Definition and Mission

The College of Engineering and Computer Science, hereinafter referred to as the College, exists as an instructional unit of The University of Michigan-Dearborn and, as such, is maintained for the purpose of serving the State and the Nation by working to realize its mission "to be the leader in providing quality undergraduate and graduate programs in an environment integrated with engineering practice, research, and continuing professional education, in close partnership with the industrial community."
