General Registration Information

  • There are two types of registration available -- regular registration and a reduced-rate student registration.
  • For each type of registration, there are two rates. The advanced registration fee is applied if you register by the advanced registration deadline of May 8, 2008. The late/on-site registration fee is applied if you register after the advanced registration deadline.
NOTE:  At least one author of each accepted paper must register using the regular registration rate to ensure that the paper is included in the conference or workshop proceedings. We are sorry, but a student registration does not satisfy this requirement. (Authors are only required to register once if they have papers in both the conference and the workshops.)  This registration must be received by the special author-registration deadline of March 23, 2008! If the registration is not received by this date, the paper will not be included in the conference or workshop proceedings.

  • Payment of a registration fee covers the cost to attend both the main conference and the workshop sessions, breakfasts, coffee breaks, conference reception and banquet. In addition, each registrant will receive a copy of both the conference and workshop CD-ROM proceedings.
  • Authors of the main conference are allowed up to eight pages for a paper that will appear in the conference proceedings, whereas authors of workshops are allowed up to six pages for a paper in the workshop proceedings (assuming the author registration requirement outlined above has been met).  Up to four additional pages may be purchased at a rate of USD$250 per page.
  • You must register through our online registration web site.
  • You can contact the registration chair, Ms. Linda Buss at  regarding letters of conference participation after you have registered. We can only provide such letters once your registration fee has been paid. The letter will be provided to you by the local arrangements chair from China.

Cancellation Policy

All requests for refunds must be received prior to May 18, 2008. No refunds will be allowed after this date. There will be a $100 service charge for all refunds. Please send a cancellation request to the registration chair, Ms. Linda Buss, at .
